Rexx Unix is a POSIX-4 multiprocessing system, operating FreeBSD. The programming environment supports several languages including ANSI C, BASIC, Forth, Fortran, Perl, Pascal, and TCL development tools. Rexx is bianary compatible with other i386 family Unix platforms such as SCO/Unix, BSD/OS, NetBSD, 386BSD and Linux. FreeBSD is source-code compatible with most popular commercial Unix systems so many applications you want to bring in for use will require little (if any) modification to get them running.

The Servers are also setup with other basic applications for accessing the Internet, Text Processing, maintaining databases and most other common Unix activities.

NOTE: A working knowledge of the commands for at least one Unix shell is required to use accounts of this type. Although Rexx can recomend books about Unix, it is beyond the scope of our offering to teach it. If you need instruction, please visit your Local Community College for a Unix class.
